Help Us Keep Our Neighbors Safe During Life-Threatening Weather

When extreme weather hits Dallas, the Inclement Weather Shelter becomes a place of refuge. For a brief time, neighbors who have been sleeping outside find warmth and safety within its walls.

But what these days reveal is deeper than the cold. They expose a hard truth. Far more people need safe shelter than there are beds available. Many of our neighbors, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, survivors of trafficking, and those with complex medical needs, want stability and a next step forward. Too often, there simply are not enough accessible options.

The shelter brings our neighbors together in one safe place, giving our team the chance to build relationships, start conversations, and plant seeds for future opportunities, guiding them toward a life off of the streets and into healthy community when they are ready.
