Ways to serve…
There are many ways that you can help. This is a small list of common ways to serve.
- Give your prayer - We believe that God has called us to this ministry and only through His leadership will we be successfull. Please pray for this ministry and the leadership. Pray for the homeless downtown.
- Give your time - We are a completely volunteer ministry. Each week people just like you give their time to prepare meals, gather and sort resources, and distribute meals, resources, and fellowship.
- Give your resources - The homeless are needy and have the same basic physical requirements as you. Their needs are
- nutritional: fruit, bread, snacks, crackers and supplies that we use to prepare meals.
- physical: coats, warm socks, gloves, rain gear, blankets, hats, toiletry items, etc…
- spiritual: Bibles, devotional books, etc…
- Give your support - We will use any monetary gifts to purchase resources that will directly effect the lives of the homeless. We might use your check to buy blankets, clothes, Bibles, or for medical needs. You gift could also be used to replenish our equipment that we use to serve (i.e. beverage containers, hot boxes, serving utensils, etc.).
