HERE’S THE PROBLEM: SIN AND DEATH

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins…—Eph 2:1

Sin causes dysfunction in every area of our lives. It infects our jobs, housing, and relationships. It brings pain and leads us to destructive habits. Sin separates us from our Holy God. The Bible says we are dead because of our sin.

HERE’S THE SOLUTION: JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS.

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.—Eph 2:4-5

God sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sin and restore our relationship to God. He did this because He loves us. God raised Jesus from the dead and proved His power over sin and death. When we trust Jesus, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, God gives us new life. Jesus is the only way to restore our relationship with God. If you believe that’s true, confess your sin to Him, believe in Jesus and ask God to save your soul.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH GOD’S GIFT OF NEW LIFE?

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.—Eph 2:8-10

All who trust Christ are saved for eternity—but many Christians still don’t have a growing relationship with Jesus. The Bible says we’re meant to know God—to grow in our relationship with Him and glorify Him. He saved you for a purpose. Spiritual growth and fruit come from knowing and following Him. Grow closer to Jesus.
