When you use our app, you trust us with your information.

This privacy policy should help you understand what data we collect and how we use the information that’s collected. We try to keep this as simple as possible. It’s important information. Read it carefully, please.

What data do we collect?

We collect information you give us—if you write an email to give us feedback or to volunteer (whichever email address you have connected to the Mail app on your Apple device), we collect your email address and whatever information you disclose within.

We also collect information regarding your location. When you use the OurCalling app to report a camp location or to search service providers, we use various technologies including whatever location services your device allows.

How do we use information we collect?

We only use your email address and information in the email to contact you regarding specific topics you initiate. All communication initiated through the app will be with an actual person and not a technological device.

Location information is used to identify service providers nearest to your location at the time you meet a homeless friend. Further, when you use the “Report Camp Location” feature, we use your location at the time of the photo to mark homeless camps for follow up. If the app is not performing an intended function, we will not access your location services.

The “Report Camp Location” feature allows you to send us a photo. These will be used to help meet the needs of the individuals in this location. This data (photo, GPS location, and your description) may be shared with other organizations to help facilitate meeting those needs. We may use these photos to raise awareness, promote use of this app, and others ways as we see fit.

Sharing Information:

We will ask your permission before using your personal information for a purpose other than what is set out in this policy. With the exception of legal proceedings involving a warrant, we do not share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of OurCalling unless you’ve given your consent. Photos, descriptions and GPS data collected through “Report Camp Location” should not be considered personal and may be shared with other organizations to meet the needs of the homeless community. This policy only applies to services offered by OurCalling, and does not include services offered by other companies, organizations or individuals which you may use.

Changes

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will post any change in policy on this page. Changes will only occur as the app is updated and services which the app performs expand.

Terms of Service

By using the application or website, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service are a legally binding contract between OurCalling, Inc. and you. By signing in or in any way using this application, you acknowledge you have read this Agreement, understand it and agree to be bound by it. Do not use this application if you are not willing or able to be bound by it. You agree that you will not rely on the Service for any purpose, especially where a failure of the Service could cause any loss, liability, injury or death.

You may not relicense access to this Application to any third party. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of this Service. You agree not to use the Service to violate any law or impersonate any agency, or in any way misrepresent yourself, including presenting yourself as an agent of OurCalling. You agree not to input any fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, pornographic or vulgar data. OurCalling, Inc. reserves the right to remove any data posted on the application for any reason, in its sole discretion.

You agree not to use information that you obtain from the application in the commission of any crime or inappropriate conduct. You agree not to use any email addresses or personal information obtained herein for the purpose of marketing or business propositions. OurCalling, Inc. has no obligation to monitor the information that is posted on the application. OurCalling, Inc. is not responsible for the accuracy of the information available on the application, nor is OurCalling, Inc. required to keep the information current or complete. OurCalling, Inc. is not responsible for the safety of users of the application and any user bears his or her own risk in public interactions involving use of the application.

OurCalling, Inc. may change the terms of this Agreement from time to time. Any such changes will become effective upon the posting of such changed terms.
