OurCalling is a discipleship ministry for the homeless.

OurCalling is a faith-based nonprofit organization that serves the unsheltered homeless community throughout Dallas County. It is our mission to build long-term relationships with individuals in order to lead individuals to a relationship with Jesus Christ and to invest in their lives through Christian discipleship. Our conviction is that every Christian believer should live a life of righteousness, holiness, integrity, and accountability.

What is ourcalling?

The disease is dysfunction.  Its symptoms often include being homeless, jobless, addicted, mentally ill, emotionally bankrupt, and being impoverished physically, socially, and spiritually. You see people like this every day, all over your city. How long can you ignore them? By avoiding the problem you are becoming part of it.

Unashamedly, we are a Christ-claiming organization. However, in offering our programs and services, we do not discriminate on the basis of religion. We share our Christian faith with everyone who visits us, but we deny our services to no one. Trusting in Jesus is necessary for eternal life, but it is not a requirement for participating in our daily programs.

At OurCalling, we build personal relationships with homeless friends in order to address the bigger issues. We want to invite you into that adventure with us.
