Our goal is not to be a food provider. Jesus Christ fed thousands - but he wasn’t in the food business either. He was ministering to people - who got hungry. So, he met their needs while leading them to God.
When we go downtown, our priority is leading you to God. If it takes food, clothes or other resources to get the attention of everyone - then by the grace of God we will bring food every week!
Most of the volunteers have no clue what it feels like to be homeless - but many of us do know what hardship and a rough life is like. Each of us are products of our surroundings - some by our own choices and others by pure bad luck.
We want you to know that God loves you. He loves you more than you know. He created you for a purpose and wants to know you personally. You are not invisible. You are important to God - so you are important to us. We serve you because God has commanded us to “love our neighbor”. And you, are our neighbor.
We want to get to know you personally. We want to know your story and situation. We want to hear your suggestions on how we can help you.
