Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Our outreach event (6/13) was a huge success and God gets all of the glory and praise! We served over 700 men and women at the Bridge in downtown Dallas. We passed out gift bags containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, socks, and tshirts! We also had a huge table of Bibles where men and women could pick out the best version/size for their needs.
Of course the main reason we serve in this ministry is not to give out stuff – but to share the love of God with people. We reconnect the lost to the found and establish long term relationships. We encouraged men and women to attend our weekly life skills class and spent time praying and sharing with people. This was a huge success and we were thrilled to be able to see God’s hand at work.
Two weeks prior we didn’t have enough resources but thanks to Centerpoint Church, Northwest Bible Church, Fellowship Dallas, Operation Care Dallas, the Baylor School of Dentistry and other generous donors- God provided everything we needed!
We are all tired and have extreme gratitude for the volunteers who came to serve.
